Diego Eli Moreira is not just a coach β he is a living embodiment of DEFA's "Fearless Fusion" philosophy. Born in Santo AntΓ΄nio da Platina, Brazil, Diego brought his South American football education to Hong Kong in 2012 and never looked back.
After naturalizing as a Hong Kong citizen in December 2019, Diego earned his first call-up to the Hong Kong National Team in May 2021, making his international debut against Iran in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. He is one of the most experienced foreign-born players in Hong Kong football history, with over 300 league appearances.
What makes Diego uniquely qualified to coach your children is his dual role: he is simultaneously an active HKPL professional player and an AFC Licensed Coach. His methods are not theoretical β they come from the training pitch, the dressing room, and the highest levels of competitive football in Asia.
